Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup butter, or vegan butter
  • 1 cup milk, or unsweetened almond milk oat milk works great as well
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, or vegan cheese shreds go ahead and experiment with your favorite type of cheese!

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fresh baby dill
  • 2 cloves fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp chives

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400° F
  • Add all dry & wet ingredients to bowl and mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon until dough forms
  • Place ¼ cup portions onto a greased baking sheet (this should make 12 biscuits but make them as big as you like)
  • Bake for 25 minutes
  • Cool before serving.
