in an 8x8 casserole dish place your block of feta in the center of the dish with grape tomatoes surrounding it and filling the dish. If you are using optional ingredients add them to the dish and mix with tomatoes.
cut the top off of your garlic bulb and place it in the casserole dish as well.
drizzle tomatoes, feta, and garlic with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
season your feta with basil and chili flakes if using.
bake for 35 minutes.
while this is in the oven cook your pasta according to package and drain. Don't forget to salt your pasta water for flavor.
remove feta and tomato dish from the oven, squeeze the roasted garlic out of the husk onto the feta, mix all ingredients in dish together, feta will be creamy and melted to form a sauce.
