Cookies
This recipe is a classic and the only cookie recipe you will ever need. Change the type of chocolate and dried fruit to make them new and exciting every time. I love white chocolate and cranberry for the holidays and semi-sweet and dark chocolate chunks for everyday cookies. I think I’m going to try Skor bits next time.
Let me know which ones are your favorite in the comments at the end of this post!
This is an easy recipe you can make in about 25 minutes total, 10 minutes to mix, and 15 minutes to bake.
If you like something a little more savory try my Cheddar Biscuit Recipe as well. These are decadent and flavorful and I bet you can’t guess my secret ingredient?! I serve these with everything, afternoon tea, lunch, dinner, and sometimes even breakfast. All of my friends and family request these for all of our get togethers.
I hope you enjoy these soft and chewy white chocolate chip cranberry cookies! They are kid and adult approved.

My Sister’s recipe
I always give credit where credit is due. My sister gave me this recipe after I made some delicious dark chocolate chunk cookies from the tasty app. I don’t know where she got this cookie recipe from and how many times she tweaked it to perfection but these are absolutely amazing. This recipe is extremely easy and can be whipped up anytime it’s your turn to make dessert, or right before someone pops over for coffee.
Notes & Tips
- Don’t worry if you don’t have an electric hand mixer, these are just as good mixed by hand with a wooden spoon!
- To make regular chocolate chip cookies add 2 cups of desired chocolate chips to the dough.
- I cook my cookies for 15 mins and they come out soft and chewy.
- If your oven runs hot I would suggest checking them at 13 mins.
- Cook for 17 mins if you like them a little bit “crispier” or more well done.
